Job Description – Computer Operator

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Computer Operator to join our team in Siliguri.

The role involves system monitoring, data entry, maintaining logs, handling backups,

and ensuring security protocols are followed. The person will support users, escalate

issues as needed, and help maintain the smooth functioning of hardware and

software systems.

Key Responsibilities

1.Manage and operate computer systems efficiently.

2.Perform accurate data entry, record maintenance, and report generation.

3.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot basic technical issues.

4.Ensure accuracy, security, and timely completion of assigned tasks.

5.Perform regular backups and assist in data recovery when required.

Requirements

1.Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Diploma/Certification in Computer Applications

preferred).

2.Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar IT/administrative role.

3.Excellent command of Odia; knowledge of English/Hindi is a must.

4.Familiarity with backup systems, data storage, printers, and scanners.

5.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy.

Preferred Skills

1.Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs, and related software

2.Basic troubleshooting knowledge of hardware and operating systems.

3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

4.Having a personal laptop is preferred

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 8-10 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
