Job Summary:
We are looking for a Java Tech Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with deep expertise in Java technologies and a strong ability to lead a team of engineers in building scalable, high-performance applications. You will be responsible for guiding technical decisions, mentoring developers, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of Java-based applications and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Review code and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Define and enforce clean architecture principles and scalable designs.
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes are efficient.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Manage task allocation, sprint planning, and delivery timelines for the team.
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical issues to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
• Strong experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Hibernate.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
